We're Getting Married!!

I can't believe it! I am sooo excited! In a little less than 7 months, Kevin and I will be married. Husband and Wife, the Ol' Ball and Chain, Mr. & Mrs.! WHAT!? After over seven years of dating, I only have to wait 7 more months to marry my best friend... Yikes, you'd think I'd have gotten the hang of the long distance by now, but NO! Sheesh, I sure hope these next months fly by!

I wanted to start a blog to share our journey through the Engagement period and beyond with those who care about us. We've already gotten A LOT done so far for the Big Day. But, hopefully I can give you a sneak peak of what we're up to, and our personality as a couple. Kev and I love to cook together, so don't be surprised to see a blog or two about some delicious recipes along the way as well! =)

Here's just a taste of my vision for The Wedding:

Bright, fun, and happy. That's the feel that I want to bring to the wedding. Our colors are the colors of the bouquet pictured above. Kevin loved it because he gets his, "Laker purple," or "Forum Blue," for all you Laker fans! I still need to figure out what theme I'm going for and all of the decorations that will accompany that, but that's the fun part!

Things came together so quickly that I found myself a bit overwhelmed and not totally soaking up this exciting time, but now that all of the big things have been nailed into place, I can put my efforts into making the day, "ours" and taking in all the love that we have been getting from friends and family. We are so blessed to have families that love us so much, that want to contribute in HUGE ways to make this day happen. Kevin and I want to thank both of our families for everything they have done to make this such a memorable time.
